摘要

This study aims to determine the effect of used of seaweed by product powder optimal fermented on feed consumption, quail egg production, egg mass and feed conversion. The material used 160 female quail aged 8 weeks with an average weight of 211,75 ± 4,43 g. The study use a completely randomized design (CRD), with 4 treatments and 5 replicates comprising: T0 (ration without by product seaweed powder), T1 (ration with non-fermented seaweed by product powder 10%), T2 (Rations with fermented seaweed by product powder 12,5%), T3 (Rations with fermented seaweed by product powder 15%). The results showed that treatment significantly (P <0,05) increased feed intake, increased feed conversion, decreased the daily production, and decreased egg mass. The conclusion that seaweed by product fermented powder level of 12,5% to 15% lower the level of performance of laying quail.
